Since 2022, we’ve been privileged to manage and develop a remarkable multi-lake property in South Georgia. Situated within a private golf course, these lakes and ponds are more than aquatic features—they are dynamic ecosystems designed to enhance the property's aesthetic appeal and offer recreational value.
Each water body on the property serves a specific purpose. Some lakes are designed to cultivate trophy bass, while others function as catfish fisheries or general fishing lakes, providing a range of opportunities for anglers to enjoy. Together, they create an inviting and tranquil environment that complements the golf course while standing out as valuable assets in their own right.
Our involvement began with the property’s initial development, as we helped design and coordinate construction of lakes on the property and has continued through its ongoing lake management. We’ve provided comprehensive services, including liming, fish stocking, feeder installation and maintenance, habitat design and placement, lake mapping, water quality monitoring, and vegetation control. By collaborating closely with the client, we’ve tailored each lake to achieve its unique goals, ensuring the property fulfills its full potential.
We enjoyed the challenge of coordinating teams working on different lakes simultaneously. Coordinating multiple teams—such as those handling liming while others installed habitat—highlighted the need for streamlined communication. Through these experiences, our team strengthened its ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects effectively.
