New Lake and Pond Stocking
We have completed extensive research on effective stocking rates for new lakes and seek to design plans to develop your freshly filled pond to an angler’s dream as fast as possible. Our new pond plans take your goals and your pond’s unique needs into account, with stocking rates designed to ensure a healthy forage base first and foremost, allowing your newly stocked bass to grow quickly.
We have managed to grow bass from fingerlings to 6lb in 3 years following a rigorous initial stocking plan followed by proper pond maintenance, supplemental stocking, proper harvest, and habitat design.
The blank canvas provided by a freshly built pond is one of the most advantageous opportunities for stocking, and it is crucial that this advantage is used wisely. Through our research, we have developed proven stocking plans in order to maximize bass growth and achieve catchable fish within a year.

Bass Stocking
When stocking largemouth bass, it is important that one considers the unique goals for the pond they are stocking as well as dynamic variables such as possible fish mortality, pond size, pond productivity, and forage base. Through our decades of fish stocking experience, we have developed industry-leading fish stocking rates that consider these dynamic variables and produce trophy largemouth bass quickly and consistently. With stocking rates designed to allow for maximal utilization of the available forage base, largemouth bass can grow rapidly in the first few years of entering the pond, the most important years for their long-term success.
Depending on one’s lake management vision, whether you want to catch trophy Florida bass, develop a high-catch rate northern bass fishery, or grow and manage F1 Hybrids, our research-driven stocking rates ensure that your bass are set up for success from the moment they hit the water.
Supplemental Forage Stocking
One of the keys to maximizing bass growth year after year is providing supplemental forage to take predation pressure off your forage base. Through the stocking of dense forage such as goldfish, crawfish, and rainbow trout, you can make sure your bluegill, the most important part of your forage base, has time to develop and spawn.
Additionally, these forage items can accelerate largemouth bass growth when employed effectively. Stocking crawfish and forage trout during summer and winter provides dense forage options that both provide greater caloric benefit for largemouth bass and take predation pressure off bluegill during those stressful seasons.

Grass Carp Stocking
Stocking grass carp in your pond is one of the most efficient and long term methods to prevent nuisance weed growth and reduce or eliminate existing submerged vegetation. These voracious eaters can consume more than their body weight each day in vegetation and are an affordable and low-maintenance approach to reduction of weeds.
These fish will eat most soft submerged aquatic plants such as hydrilla, elodea, bladderwort, milfoil, and chara, and although they will avoid more fibrous plants such as cattails and water lilies, they will control new growth by eating sprouts before they can grow.
We are fully licensed to sell sterile grass carp, and will happily deliver them to your pond, or prepare them for pickup, ensuring their quick arrival to your pond.
